A Short Course on English Poetry for III semester B.A. English students

The short course is designed to support our III semester B.A.English students who gear up for their III semester exams shortly. The course focuses seven poems prescribed in the U.G. syllabus.
- The first poem is a poem by A.D.Hope titled Australia

Dr. Salia Rex

Dr. Salia Rex had a brief stint at St. Philomina's H. S. S. and St. Albert's HSS as a higher secondary teacher before she was appointed as an Asst. Professor of English at St. Paul's College, Kalamassery in 2005. She secured doctorate for her thesis "A Re-Reading of Hamlet in the Light of the Bhagavad Gita" in 2009 under the guidance of Dr. P. Geetha at the School of Letters, M. G. University. Her thesis is published as a book titled "Hamlet and Arjuna: Heroes of a Feather" in 2018. Presently, she is a research guide at the School of Letters, M. G. University. Dr. Rex is the recipient of two teacher awards for her academic excellence and innovative research, which has been recognised for its relevance in society and for the student community.
