NEED OF THE COURSE
The role of the Scorer is to assume as a person who records the plays in a game and who sees that the rules are not broken and a person chosen to mark scores without a dispute; arbiter, especially one whose decisions are binding on both or all parties to the dispute.
OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE
A scorer has the authority to make decisions on the cricket field, according to the laws of cricket. Besides making decisions about the legality of delivery, assist umpire and general conduct of the game, the umpire also keeps a record of the deliveries and announces the completion of an over.
METHOD OF THE COURSE
Major areas have been identified and described in three modules. Each area will be handled with explanation, discussion, quizzes, assignments and tests. A certificate will be issued to the registered participants on the successful completion of the course.
